Keeping aside the popularity of Cricket and Football, students of Sir Padmpat Singhania University (SPSU) organized Track and Field event in the annual college fest Panache 2013, which concluded last week.

Organizing team consisted of Kushwant Singh Sisodia, Nikhil Sisodia, Bharat Kumar Shetty, Sharandeep Singh, Sanjay Vyas and Bhupesh Joshi. They planned the event for the first time and to their surprise, an incredible number of registrations, crossing 150 in a single event, were recorded.

According to a student, 166 registrations were received for various races (100, 200 and 400 meters) relay, reverse race, tug of war, long jump and triple jump.

Prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Dr. Deepak Vyas and the faculty advisor Amrit Gosh and Dr. Parsun Chakraborty.
