Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon, RCA College and a few more have started swimming trainings. These swimming pools were unvisited since November due to winters, but Monday onwards people started flocking in for trainings. A 3 hour training schedule has been fixed for morning and evening each in Khel Gaon. The fee structure for students is 800 rupees whereas for general public it is 1000 rupees. Even the senior citizens will be trained at a fee of 800 rupees. In RCA students and senior citizens have to pay 1000 rupees, general public 1500 rupees for the training. It is the first time that RCA is providing summer batches for training in swimming.
Recently a Squash court was made in Khel Gaon in which training courses have been started. 10 people were trained in Squash on the first day. District Sports officer Lalit Singh Jhala said that this is the first Squash court in Udaipur. Monday onwards, registrations started for various sports activities in Khel Gaon. The other sports activities for which registrations are available are Badminton, Archery, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball and skating. Entry in Khel Gaon is possible only through registration.
