The State Sub Junior Powerlifting Tournament and the District Senior Powerlifting tournament concluded at the Luv-Kush Stadium in the morning today.

Vinod Sahu, Secretary, Rajasthan Powerlifting Club informed as that the ‘Strong Man of Rajasthan’ title in the Sub Junior Powerlifting was awarded to Shajad Kahn, who is a resident of Banswara. Samir Khan, who is an International Power lifter, grabbed the ‘Strong Man of Udaipur’ title.

The results for State Sub Junior Powerlifting Tournament, Men Category were as follows,

53-Kilo Category – Tausif Khan and Junaid Makrani secured first and second place lifting 272.5 Kg and 190 Kg respectively.

59 – Kilo Category – Azharuddin Sheikh, Banswara and Hitesh Solanki secured first and second positions lifting 295 Kg and 280 Kg respectively.

66 – Kilo Category – Shahjad Khan, Banswara and Shahjad from Alawar secured first and second places lifting 440 Kg and 395 Kg respectively.

74 – Kilo Category – Sonu Yadav, Alawar and Dushyant Singh, Udaipur grabbed the first and second positions lifting 325 Kg and 265 Kg respectively.

83 – Kilo Category – Mohammad Ishtiyal and Shubham Soni, Udaipur secured first and second position lifting 410 Kg and 360 Kg respectively.

93 – Kilo Category – Madhav Suhalka of Udaipur secured the first place lifting 285 Kg.

120 – Kilo Category – Chen Singh of Udaipur secured the first place lifting 260 Kg.

In the State Sub Junior Woman Powerlifting Tournament, Rakshya Vyas of Udaipur secured the first position in the 47 – Kilo Category by lifting 185 Kg.

In the District Senior Powerlifting Tournament, Men, the results were as follows,

59 – Kilo Category – Vikas Sen and Narpat Singh secured first and second place lifting 317.5 Kg and 305 Kg respectively.

66 – Kilo Category – Sameer Khan and Shekhar Sharma secured first and second positions lifting 567.5 Kg and 315 Kg respectively.

74 – Kilo Category – Bhupendra Vyas and Govindra Prajapat grabbed the first and second positions lifting 542.5 Kg and 315 Kg respectively.

83 – Kilo Category – Naveen Sharma and Mohammad Ishtiyak Udaipur secured first and second position lifting 517.5 Kg and 410 Kg respectively.

93 – Kilo Category – Chandresh Soni and Baghwat Singh secured first and second positions lifting 407 Kg and 360 Kg respectively.

105 – Kilo Category – Arjun Paliwal and Hussain Khan grabbed the first and second positions lifting 500 Kg and 315 Kg respectively.

120 – Kilo Category – Prem Dangi and Chen Singh Udaipur secured first and second position lifting 440 Kg and 260 Kg respectively.

120+ Kilo Category – Kamlesh Sharma secured the first position by lifting 450 Kg.

In the District Senior Woman Powerlifting Tournament, the results were as follows,

47 – Kilo Category – Raksha Vyas secured the first position.

72 – Kilo Category – Indira Bandari secured the first position.

84 – Kilo Category – Rajkumari Yadav secured the first position.

The event ended with the distribution of prizes by the Chief Guest of the event, D.K. Jain, Director, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur for both the tournaments.
