State level open chess tournament for Under-7 and Under-17 age category, organized by Chess in Lakecity and Shemford School, will commence from tomorrow at Shemford School.

In the tournament, FIDE rated players from several districts of the State will participate and on the basis of this competition, chess players for the national level tournament will be selected.

Organizing Secretary and Chess Trainer, Vikas Sahu informed that interested players can register themselves tomorrow at 10 AM at the venue after showing their Birth-Certificate.
