The Rajasthan Skating Federation has organized a Three-day State level Skating Championship at the Central Public School starting from the 24th of May.

Participants from various cities in the State, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Bhilwara and Rajsamand, will be competing in the tournament.

According to Manjeet Singh, Coach, Rajasthan Skating Team, around 200 students will be taking part in the competition, which is classified into 6 different categories on the basis of age: Under-4, Under-6, Under-8, Under-10, Under-12 and Under-18.

Initially, three participants will be selected and rewarded from each category. Next, the 9 winners from the under-4, Under-6 and Under-8 categories will compete in a ‘Champion of Champions’ round. Similarly, another ‘Champion of Champions’ round will be conducted for the winners of the Under-10, Under-12 and Under-18. A total of 3 participants will be chosen from each ‘Champion of Champions’ round.

Finally, a special round will be conducted among the 6 winners selected from both ‘Champion of Champions’ round and the final winner from this round will be declared the ‘Overall Champion’.

The Championship begins on 24^th May in the evening at 6’O clock and participants will be using Inline and Quad skates.
