Suruchi Singh and Saurabh Chaudhary won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol Mixed Team event held in Lima, Peru
April 19, 2025 - Indian shooter Suruchi Singh clinched another gold medal at the ISSF World Cup 2025 held in Lima, Peru. Suruchi, along with Saurabh Chaudhary, won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol Mixed Team event with a score of 17 points. The Indian pair outperformed China’s Qianxun Yao and Kai Hu, who scored nine points.
The other pairo of Manu Bhaker and Ravinder Singh disappointed. They lost the bronze medal match 6-16 against the Chinese pair of Qianke Bin and Zhāng Pifan.
Earlier, in the Women’s 10m air pistol event, Suruchi Singh won the gold and Manu Bhaker bagged silver. Suruchi shot a total of 243.6 in the final to beat compatriot Manu Bhaker, a two-time Olympic medallist, for the gold.
On the same day, Saurabh won the bronze in the Men’s 10m air pistol event with a total of 219.1, to claim his first individual ISS World Cup medal in three years.
