BCCI Reveals Team India’s Schedule for 2026–27 Home Season

March 26, 2026: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule for Team India’s home season 2026–27. The season will be full of exciting matches, with four teams visiting India. These teams are the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia. A total of 22 international matches will be played in 17 cities across the country.
West Indies Tour
The season will start with the West Indies tour of India on September 27, 2026. The tour will have three ODI matches and five T20I matches. The ODI matches will be played in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh. After that, the T20I matches will be played in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
Sri Lanka Tour
After that, India will host Sri Lanka in December 2026. This series will have three ODI matches and three T20I matches. The ODI matches will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. The T20I matches will take place in Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune.

Zimbabwe Tour
In January 2027, Zimbabwe will come to India for a three-match ODI series. These matches will be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
Australia Tour
The season will end with the big Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. It will be a five-match Test series starting on January 21, 2027, in Nagpur. The other matches will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad. This series is expected to be very exciting as both teams are strong.
