Third edition of Udaipur Runs by IIM Udaipur ends on a high note
Udaipur Runs saw an enthusiastic participation by 200 Jawans with over 1000 people turning up for the event.

IIM Udaipur organised the third edition of its annual ‘Udaipur Runs’ at Fateh Sagar Lake on January 12, 2020.
Continuing with their tradition of running for a social cause, Udaipur Runs v3.0’s theme this year, was ‘Run With The Jawans’ wherein 139 Jawans along with 7 officers and 4 JCO’s ran along with 800+ participants. The run was held in three categories of 3.5km, 6km, and 8.2km.
Carrying forward its tradition of success, Udaipur Runs had a footfall of 1000+ with people braving the chilly weather and participating in masses. The event saw active participation from all spheres and elderly as well as young kids ran with the Jawans showing their solidarity with the armed forces.

Prof. Shah flagged off the run along with representatives from Secure Meters and DCB bank. The winners were awarded cash prizes worth 62,000/-.

Winner: Sunita R Jat; 1st Runner Up: Reetu Sharma; 2nd Runner Up: Rakhi Pandey

Winner: Raj Kumar Fandan; 1st Runner Up: Dinesh Parihar; 2nd Runner Up: Sunil
Jawans and sponsors were gifted with saplings as a token of thanks which is in accordance with IIMU’s core value of ecological sustainability. Multiple prominent brands such as Secure Meters, Pyrotech Tempsens, ICICI Bank, DCB Bank, Geetanjali Medical College and hospital and Saras; provided their support to Udaipur Runs v3.0.
Udaipur Runs v3.0 was the pre-event for Utkrisht’20 which is to be held from 18-19 January 2020. Utkrisht is the annual sports fest of IIM Udaipur which is held every year in January to help the IIMU community develop and inculcate a sports culture.
