Training Camp of Rock Climbing to Start from 10th Jan
After a long wait of 4 months, MLSU Sports Board is finally organizing its first training camp on the newly Installed Wall Climbing structure at M.B. College Ground from 10th January; as it is the first camp, only University students would be able to participate.
After a long wait of 4 months, MLSU Sports Board is finally organizing its first training camp on the newly Installed Wall Climbing structure at M.B. College Ground from 10th January; as it is the first camp, only University students would be able to participate.
Vardaman Singh Naruka has been appointed as coach of the 10-day long training camp for rock climbing. Singh would be assisting enrolled students in 2 hrs. morning session from 7-9 am, while Nitish Sharma, PI Officer, NCC Naval Wing also share his expertise in sessions.
According to Vardman Singh Naruka, “Interested students of MLSU can enrol themselves for the camp, but candidate has to be above 18 years”.
Sources informed that structure was officially inaugurated on 8th October last year in the presence of Prof. I. V. Trivedi, Vice Chancellor of MLSU; the University took around 4 months to start regular sessions.
According to Dr. D. S. Chouhan, Secretary of Sports Board of MLSU, “Training sessions somehow got delayed as structure was to be surveyed by the officials for safety measures and also the fencing work had be done, so that entry can be restricted for unauthorized ones only”.
