Rajasthan U-14 Boxers Win National Title in SGFI Tournament

Rajasthan’s U-14 boxing team created history at the 69th National School Boxing Championship in Guna winning 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals

Jan 3, 2025 –Rajasthan’s Under-14 team won a total of eight medals at the 69th National School Boxing Championship and created history by being crowned National Champions. The team won three gold, two silver and three bronze medals in the tournament held in Guna, Madhya Pradesh between December 26 and 31, 2025.

Yash Kumar won gold in the 30 kg category, Chhatrapal Singh secured gold in 38 kg and Aniraj Chaudhary claimed gold in the 40 kg weight category.

Ansh Rawat won silver in the 34 kg category, while Gaurav Mankad earned silver in the 42 kg division.

Kushal Singh won bronze in 44 kg, Vansh Sura in 46 kg, and Jayvardhan Singh Bidawat in the 50 kg category.

The team was coached by Paryant Singh, with Bhur Singh Bhati serving as team manager, Kishan as assistant coach and Kanaram Kataria as Chief de Mission. Technical officials included Dr Zuber Khan, Gulzar Mohammad, Deepak Gamot and Payal Sahu, who officiated as judges.

The tournament was organised by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
