Udaipur, April 23, 2025 - The Urban Development Authority (UDA) will soon construct a pavilion at the international-standard cricket ground in Khelgaon at a cost of Rs 1.56 crore.  Once completed, the venue will be capable of hosting Ranji Trophy and IPL matches.

The pavilion is being built by the UDA under the direction of the District Collector and UDA Commissioner. National and international matches can be hosted here and many talented players are expected to emerge from this facility.

This information was shared by District Sports Officer Dr Mahesh Paliwal.

To manage and maintain the ground, the District Sports Department has formed a five-member committee, including one expert.

The ground has been developed with features similar to the international cricket stadium in Jaipur, including Bermuda Level-1 grass and five black soil pitches. The boundaries are 100 metres on the front and back, and 80 metres on the leg and off sides, meeting international standards.
