Boxer Samar Fateh Singh Rathore from Central Academy School has been selected for National Boxing Competition(Rajasthan team) to be held in Guwahati from 12^th July to 17^th July. Samar Fateh Singh Rathore left for Guwahati from Delhi with Boxing Coach Narpat Singh Chundawat and Vijay Pratap Singh.

Last month Samar beat other boxers in Rajasthan Boxing Competition. He bagged a gold in Junior Boxing competition. Samar has been winning constantly for the last 2 years on both District and State level. District Sports officer Lalit Singh Jhala and other officers from Boxing Association have appreciated the efforts of the young boxer.

Cricket cup

Meanwhile Bhuwana team won the Bheelu Rana Cricket Cup by defeating Dhikli. The closing of the competition took place at Railway Ground at Thokar Choraha on Monday, reported Pramila Chowdhary. Chief guest for the program was Phool Singh Meena of Rural Vidhan Sabha Constituency. Winning team rejoiced with cash prize of 11000 rupees and trophy. Runner up team was given a trophy and 5 thousand rupees.

Inter College Competition

Winning teams of Inter College competitions for the last session have been announced. According to Dr. Deepender Singh, Secretary Sports Board, Commerce College won by 27 points and Bhopal Nobles PG College of Physical Education(BNCPE) team stood second with 16 points. Arts College were 3^rd with 14 points. Meera Girls College were winners by 40 points, Rana Pratap College(RPCPE), Bhinder were 2^nd with 22 points and GuruNanak Girls collge were 3^rd with 11 points.

Football

District Football Association will host ‘District level Under-14’ competition on RCA ground from 13^th to 15^th July. Secretary of District Football Association Dilip Singh Shekhawat said that children born on or after 1^st January 2013 are eligible to participate in this competition. Interested candidates can enrol by 5 p.m. on 12^th July.
