Rajasthan United FC have become the first football team to qualify for the Hero I-League. With an unbeaten track record across the qualifiers, the Rajasthan United Football Club managed a draw with Kenkra FC today afternoon to seal their place in the Hero I-League (#HILQ2021).
In the first match that took place today at 11am, Delhi FC beat Madan Maharaj Football Club by six goals (6-0).

Rudra Pratap Singh from Udaipur was picked up by Rajasthan United Football Club in 2020. Gafoor Khan, who has coached Rudra all through his career, said that Rudra is the first player from Udaipur to have been selected for the i-League 2nd Division Tournament. Being under Gafoor's mentorship, Rudra has shown his brilliance across tournaments in the past. Previously known as the National Football League 2nd Division, the I-League 2nd Division is known as Hero 2nd Division League. It is the second highest overall division in the Indian Football league system and was introduced in 2008. Rudra, 22, has been playing football since 9 years now and has his vision set on becoming a professional footballer and during his journey to his current club, has achieved many a success. Before being selected by AU Rajasthan FC, Rudra has also played for Minerva Punjab FC who were winners in the last season of i-League 2nd Division.
