Udaipur girl, Hemlata Gayri did the city proud by winning the Gold medal in 2nd WFSKO Asian International Karate Championship held in Mumbai. The Championship was held in Priyadarshini Sports Complex, Mumbai.

Hemlata is a student of Maniklal Verma Shramjivi College. She is currently in the fourth semester of her B.A. course.

Informing about Hemlata’s achievement, college Principal, Suman Pamecha said, “There were 1800 participants in the competition. To win a Gold medal in competition of this magnitude is really commendable. We wish her the very best for her future”
