On the first day of the 68th State-Level School Swimming Competition in Jaipur, Udaipur showed a strong performance.

District Sports Officer and swimming coach, Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, announced that Udaipur’s Harshaditya Singh Ranawat won a gold medal in the 200-meter backstroke event.  In addition to this, Harshaditya also secured a silver medal in the freestyle relay boys' race.

Udaipur’s performance on the first day set a positive tone for the rest of the competition.
