Nine-year-old Kiyana Parihar, a student at MDS Senior Secondary School in Udaipur, has made headlines by winning the Under-14 category of the 68th RBSE State Chess Tournament. The tournament was held in Pilibanga, Rajasthan on September 17,2024. She achieved a remarkable score of 9 out of 9 points, showcasing her talent by not losing a single match throughout the competition.
There were a total 218 girls participants in the tournament. Kiyana's victory is particularly impressive as she competed against older girls, demonstrating exceptional maturity and skill. Her ability to defeat her opponents with precision and cunning highlights her hard work and dedication to chess.
In addition to her individual success, Kiyana led her team to victory in the Team Champions Trophy for Udaipur district, adding to her accomplishments at the tournament. Kiyana's achievement is a source of pride for Udaipur and serves as an inspiration to young chess players in the region.
