Results of the Semifinals of the ongoing State Level Under-19 Cricket Tournament are as follows –

K.V.6 Jaipur defeated the host, K.V.1 Pratap Nagar, Udaipur by four wickets.

K.V.6 AFS Jodhpur won against K.V. Itarana, Alwar by two wickets.

Professor G. S. Mehta, Principal of Kendriya Vidhyalaya – 1, informed, “Finals of the tournament will be played on Sunday between K.V.6 Jaipur and K.V.6 AFS Jodhpur. Subsequently, trials will be conducted for selection in the national team”.

Sharikh Sheikh, the Organizing Secretary, said, “State Level (Jaipur Zone) Girls Hockey Tournament will commence on August 27, 2012 in the presence of Vice-Chancellor of Sukhadia University, Professor Indra Vardhan Trivedi”.

Professor G. S. Mehta, principal of Kendriya Vidhyalaya – 1, informed the result of the ongoing State Level Under-19 Cricket Championship after the last level of league matches that were played on Friday.

The teams that qualified for the Quarter Finals are as follows-

From Group – A, K.V.-1 Udaipur and K.V. Avikanagar

From Group – B, K.V.-6 Jaipur and K.V. Phulera

From Group – C, K.V.-6 AFS Jodhpur and K.V. Itarana, Alwar

From Group – D, K.V.-1 Bikaner and K.V.-5 Jaipur

Sharikh Sheikh, the organizing secretary, said, “Quarter Final Matches will be played tomorrow morning on all four grounds and later, first semifinal will be played at K.V. Pratap Nagar’s ground and second semifinal will be played on B.N. College ground”.
