Udaipur's Mewari Runners Excel at Tata Mumbai Marathon

32 members of the Mewari Runners Group deliver a stellar performance across categories in Asia's largest marathon event

Udaipur, Jan 21, 2026 - Udaipur’s Mewari Runners Group once again put up an outstanding performance at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026. A total of 32 runners from the group participated in the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Virtual Run categories, delivering impressive results in Asia’s largest marathon event.

This achievement is not just an individual success but a proud moment for the entire city of Udaipur and the Mewar community.

In the Women’s category, Dr Akanksha Tripathi completed the Full Marathon (42.2 km) in 5 hours 14 minutes.

In the Men’s category, Rahul Ranka recorded the fastest time, completing the marathon in 3 hours 28 minutes, marking the best performance of the group.

Mewari Runners is not limited to running alone. The group actively contributes to social welfare through weekly runs, monthly challenges and by donating sports shoes every year to underprivileged schools, giving rural children the opportunity to play and grow.
