Udaipur, February 17, 2025 - Mohanlal Gameti, Khumaram Gameti and Pranay Tripathi from Udaipur have been selected for the Indian team for the Asian Youth Lacrosse Championship to be held in Okinawa, Japan, from February 20 to 23, 2025.

According to coach Neeraj Batra, the selection of these players was based on their outstanding performance in the Federation Cup held in Agra and the second National Senior Lacrosse Competition held in Udaipur. Rajasthan won gold medals in both competitions.

The three players have been sponsored by Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited, Udaipur. Mohanlal and Khumaram belong to the tribal area of Dhar village, Udaipur, and study in Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.

This achievement has received praise from several persons including Tribal Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Gogunda MLA Pratap Lal Bheel, Udaipur Division Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, Commissioner of Tribal Regional Development Department Shakti Singh Rathore, Udaipur Collector Namit Mehta, Director of Rajasthan Mines and Minerals Limited Udaipur Bhagwati Prasad Kalal and many others.
