At the Asian Power Lifting Championship being organized at Hong Kong, weight lifters from Udaipur performed exceptionally well gaining medals in various competitions.

Udaipur’s Lal Chandresh Soni participated in 83 Kg category and won 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. On the other hand, emerging power lifter of Udaipur Rajkumari Yadav performed in 84 Kg category and won 4 silver medals.

Rajasthan Power Lifting Association’s secretary Vinod Sahu informed that Chandresh secured silver in 210 Kg squat, bronze in 130 Kg bench press, silver in 210 Kg dead lift and overall silver medal in 550 Kg category.

Also, in the same championship, Rajkumari Yadav secured silver in 147.5 Kg squat, silver in 75 Kg bench press, silver in 132.5 Kg dead lift and overall silver medal in 355 Kg category.

The players will be honored at the State Senior Power Lifting Championship in Jodhpur from 1^st to 3^rd August.
