14th Udaipur District Junior & Sub-Junior Powerlifting Championship concludes at Lav Kush Stadium; check winners, results and team selection details
Udaipur, March 30, 2026 - Under the aegis of the District Powerlifting Association Udaipur, the 14th Udaipur District Junior & Sub-Junior Classic Powerlifting Championship was successfully held at the Lav Kush Indoor Stadium on Sunday (March 29).
In the competition, Jayesh Kamoya won the title of Junior Strong Man, while Mahi Chauhan secured the Junior Strong Woman title. In the sub-junior category, Rupesh Baranda was declared Strong Boy, and Kirti Chauhan won the Strong Girl title.
Providing details, Secretary Vinod Sahu shared that the prize distribution ceremony was attended by former District Sports Officer Girdhari Singh Chauhan as Chief Guest. The programme was chaired by Powerlifting India vice-president Vinod Sahu. Special guests included Rajasthan Strength Lifting Association General Secretary Chandresh Soni and weightlifting coach Dhapu Lohar.
Notable attendees included national women players Bushra Sultana and Bhagyashree, along with international players Gaurav Sahu and Ranjeet Singh Chauhan.
