Udaipur lost an early wicket after restricting Jaipur to a below par score of 228 on the first day of the semi-final of the State level U-19 Cricket Tournament at Field Club Today.

Having lost the toss, Udaipur managed to restrict Jaipur to 228. However, Udaipur lost an early wicket and were placed at 11 for the loss of one wicket at the close of play. The match is a three day affair and is set to get interesting with heavy rains lashing the city.

It may be noted that Udaipur is the winner of the Elite B group and qualified after beating Sawai Madhopur team. Jaipur, on the other hand are winners of Elite D group and have qualified for semi-finals after beating Jaisalmer.
