Third edition of Udaipur Runs, will be held on 12 January 2020 around the Fateh Sagar Lake, Udaipur.
Two years since its inauguration, Udaipur Runs has been growing bigger and better each year. In such a short time, Udaipur Runs has garnered several hundreds of participants from Udaipur to aid its cause. So, what is Udaipur Runs and why is it trending?
‘Udaipur Runs’ named after the scenic beauty of the Lake City of India, is a run organized by IIM Udaipur to serve a specific social cause every year. Udaipur Runs started as the flag off event in 2017 for Solaris – The Annual Management Fest of IIM Udaipur. This first edition of Udaipur Runs saw a participation of 400 people from across Udaipur.
In 2019, IIM Udaipur had its maiden Annual Sports Fest – Utkrisht’19 where the second edition of Udaipur Runs was its pre-event. Udaipur Runs v2.0 had a footfall of around 2000 people from Udaipur including 1500 participants. This exponential increase in the footfall made Udaipur Runs the second largest run of Udaipur thereby making it an unprecedented success.
Added to this, Udaipur Runs has always encouraged gender diversified participation by allocating prizes for men and women separately. Register here for UDAIPUR RUNS 2020
