Udaipur’s Shooter Wins Individual Silver in All India Pistol Shooting

Three years of hard training pays off for Surendra Singh Devda, Udaipur’s rising shooting star

Udaipur, Nov 14, 2025 - Udaipur’s national pistol shooter Surendra Singh Devda has won the individual silver medal in the 10-metre pistol Deaf Category at the All India GV Mavlankar Pistol Shooting Championship held at the Military & Rifle Club in Gujarat.

According to Rajasthan team manager and Surendra’s coach, Dr Jitendra Singh Mayda, Surendra started to learn shooting three years ago and has sharpened his skills over the years because of his dedication and hard work.

Surendra had earlier won a gold medal in the Open India Championship in Goa and a silver medal at the North Zone Championship in Delhi last year. He will participate in the National Championship in Delhi this December.

Surendra completed his schooling at the School for the Deaf, Ambamata, and practices at the Mewar Rifle Shooting Club, Gunjol, Nathdwara.

The Mewar Rifle Shooting Club has extended its best wishes to Surendra for this achievement and continued success.
