In a State level Power Lifting Championship organized at Bharatpur, Udaipur Power Lifting team has been awarded the runners-up title; outperforming in the tournament, team Udaipur has received 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals overall.

In this championship organized at Bharatpur from 30^th June – 1^st July team Udaipur was awarded two Gold medals in senior weight categories, men 93kg and women 48kg, the team also received two silver medals in senior weight categories of men 74kg and 67kg, whereas the two bronze medals were achieved by weight category of 66kg and 83kg in senior men.

According to Shabbir Hussain, Secretary, Udaipur Power Lifting Association, among the senior weight category, gold medals were shared by Sayyad Irfan and Simran Negi, whereas silver medals were given to Mohammad Ishtiyak and Manali Tatreja and lastly the bronze medals were awarded to Rahul Vasita and Ashraf Hussain.
