57^th State Level 17-19 years category Lawn Tennis Tournament concluded today, in which Shailendra Kataria of Delhi Public School (DPS) secured the first position in single’s event.

Lawn Tennis Coach, Damyanti Sharma said that, in the single’s event final, Udaipur’s Shailendra Katariya defeated Jodhpur’s Punit by a score of 9-2. This is his second medal, as he was part of the Udaipur team that won another event by defeating Shree Ganganagar team in the final.

Shailendra will now be the part of the State Team from Rajasthan, which will participate in the National Level Lawn Tennis Competition, bound to be held in Jodhpur.

Kataria gives credit to his Grandfather Heera Lal Kataria, his father Sharad Kataria and his mother Alka Kataria for his win.
