Udaipur to Host State Level Chess
Udaipur will be hosting the Rajasthan State Senior Open Chess Competition 2013 under the aegis of All Rajputana Chess Association. The total cash prize for the competition is Rs. 28,200.
Udaipur will be hosting the Rajasthan State Senior Open Chess Competition 2013 under the aegis of All Rajputana Chess Association. The total cash prize for the competition is Rs. 28,200.
The junior players will also be awarded with cash prize. Along with the senior category under-7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 groups will also participate.
Planning Secretary and trainer Vikas Sahu told that the competition will be held from 27-29 September under the joint sponsorship of Chess in Lakecity and Chessman Chess Academy.
The players who score the first four positions will represent the state in 51st National Challenger (National B.) competition which will be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. A committee has been organized to conduct the competition. In which Dr. Dilip Singh Chauhan, Satyaprakash Mundra, Parasmal Hingad, Tejsingh Babel, Nilesh Kumavat, Dr. Omprakash Shah and various chess lovers and players are included. Judge for the competition will be Rishi Salvi. The competition will be organized in International Swiss system which will have 8 cycles.
