49th National School Games: Under-19 Boys Hockey in Udaipur
SGFI gives Rajasthan responsiblity of hosting 10 sporting events under the 49th National School Games from November 2025 to January 2026
Udaipur, Nov 15, 2025 - The School Games Federation of India (SGFI) has included Rajasthan in the list of major host States for the 49th National School Games. Rajasthan will host 10 important competitions from November 2025 to January 2026. This highlights the State’s growing status in sports infrastructure and capability.
The games will be held across multiple districts in Rajasthan, including Udaipur which has been given the responsibility of hosting hockey.
Each game likely scheduled over 3-7 days depending on the format.
The 10 sporting events to be held in Rajasthan are Volleyball, Judo, Kho-Kho, Netball, Sepak Takraw, Basketball, Cricket, Handball, Hockey and Tennis
According to the list issued by SGFI, national competitions will be held at 110 locations across India. These will include 43 sports across the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 age groups. Each sport event will receive Rs 15 lakh for its organisation.
