Udaipur Under-7 Selection Chess Tournament 2026 Winners
Ramanik Singh Saluja and Vihana Gokhru win Udaipur District Under-7 Chess Championship 2026 in Boys and Girls categories respectively; check full results, winners and highlights
Udaipur, April 14, 2026 - The Udaipur District Under-7 Selection Chess Tournament 2026 (Open) was successfully conducted at Mikado Kids and Mikado International School, Udaipur. Young talented players from across the district participated enthusiastically in the event which had been organised under the aegis of the Udaipur District Chess Association.
In the Boys' category Ramanik Singh Saluja secured first place with 4 points while Viraj Darak and Neel Ranka scored 3 points each to claim second and third positions respectively. Other notable performers included Ridit Hingar, Gaurek Lodha, Dev Matta, Manit Kaushik, Jash Gakhreja, Daivik Rathi and Gyan Jain.
In the Girls' category, Vihana Gokhru secured first place with 3 points. Kimaira Chhabra finished second with 2 points, while Davisha Ranawat secured third place. Participants like Adhira Chaudhary, Ayra Chokshi and Sanvi Suhalka impressed with their skills.
The tournament was officiated by chief arbiters Richin Jain and Vikas Chandel, while the Chief Guest was Bhupendra Sen, president of Aryamitra Chess Club.
Secretary Indra Kumar Prajapat informed that based on the results, Ramanik and Viraj (Boys category) along with Vihana and Kimaira (Girls category) have been selected for the State-level Under-7 chess championship.
