Udaipur Wins 4 Medals in State Senior Girls Boxing
Tashri Menaria clinches gold, Ilma Khan secures a silver and Sheetal Bhati and Vimla Kunwar bronze in the Super Heavyweight category in Ajmer
Udaipur, Dec 26, 2025 - Udaipur boxers won a total of four medals, including one gold, at the State Senior Girls Boxing Championship held in Ajmer. Tashri Menaria, a recent medallist at the Khelo India University Games, won the gold in the Super Heavyweight category, according to District Boxing Association Secretary Fateh Singh Rathore.
Ilma Khan secured a silver medal while Sheetal Bhati and Vimla Kunwar won bronze for Udaipur. The team was coached by Shalini Naruka, boxing coach at Maharana Pratap Sports Village.
On their return to Udaipur, the boxers were welcomed and felicitated at Shri Hemraj Rashtriya Vyayamshala. The ceremony was attended by State Sports Council boxing coach Narpat Singh Chundawat, Boxing Federation of India’s Samar Fateh Singh Rathore, Vyayamshala manager Sanjay Soni, members of the District Boxing Association and fellow boxers.
District Boxing Association president Ram Narayan Kothari, Dalpat Singh Chundawat, Pushkar Sharma, Balulal Khokhawat, Kuldeep Joshi, Umesh Bhardwaj, Shambhu Singh Rathore and Chetan Singh Panwar have extended their congratulations to the boxers.
