In the recently concluded 37th National Games held in Goa on 26 October, 2023, Vandana Sharma and Priya Suthar, hailing from Udaipur, secured bronze medals in the field of yoga. Dr. Deependrasingh Chauhan, the coordinator of the yoga center, revealed that both students are currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (BSc) program at the yoga center.

This marks the first time that a players from Udaipur has won a medal in the yoga competition at the National Games. The students who clinched the medals and their coach, Raju Singh Khichi, received congratulations from the University Chancellor, Professor Sunita Mishra, and the President of the Sports Board, Professor Neeraj Sharma.

Dr. Bhimraj Patel, the Secretary of MLSU, announced that on the upcoming National Sports Day, students who win medals will be recognized and honored with both a cash prize and a certificate.
