The 77th Senior National Aquatic Championship took place in Manglore (Karnataka) from September 10 to 13,2024. Udaipur's swimmer, Yug Chelani, made headlines by winning the first gold medal for Rajasthan on the final day of the event.
Yug Chelani achieved this milestone with a time of 4:36.39 minutes in the 400-meter individual medley. This historic win marks the first gold medal for Rajasthan in the history of the state’s swimming competitions.
In recognition of his remarkable performance, the Rajasthan Swimming Association has announced a prize of Rs 1 lakh for Yug.
