Udaipurites shine for India in Junior Kudo World Cup 2017

Udaipurites shine for India in Junior Kudo World Cup 2017

Kudo sportsmen from Udaipur won 6 Golds, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze for India in the recently concluded World Cup Junior Kudo Championship in Mumbai. India overall won 35 Gold medals of which sportsmen from Rajasthan contributed to 9 Gold medals.

Akshay Raj Jodha, Raj Nandini Menaria, Bhavna Sahu, Aryan Singh Rajawat, Lakshita Panwar and Priyul Menaria from Udaipur won the gold medals in their categories. Nandini Gurjar from Udaipur won a silver medal. Bronze medal winners from Udaipur include Yaman Paneri, Arham Jain, Kartikeya Gurjar and Nakshya Sharma.

The championship was inaugurated by a grand opening ceremony that included Bollywood star and Kudo India Chairman Akshaya Kumar, Kudo Federation Grand Master Jokucho Takashi Ajooma and Rajkumar Aditya Thakre from Shiv Sena Mumbai headquarter.

The winners were greeted with a lot of gutso on reaching Udaipur at Mewar Circle. The participants were garlanded and sweets were offered. A rally was then taken out that culminated at the Kudo Headquarters of Udaipur.
