Spirit Beyond Limits: “When your determination is stronger than your circumstances, no summit is too high", Govind
Udaipur, April 28, 2025: Udaipur’s inspiring adventurer, Bindaas Govind Kharol, has once again proven that dreams have no limitations. A person with a disability, Govind recently achieved a remarkable feat by successfully completing the challenging Annapurna Base Camp trek (4,130 meters / 13,550 feet) in Nepal — as part of India’s largest inclusive Himalayan expedition.
This extraordinary journey was organized by the Tinkesh Ability Foundation (TAF) in collaboration with Advait Outdoors from April 13th to 24th, 2025. The team comprised six participants with disabilities and nine non-disabled allies from across India, trekking side by side across approximately 75 kilometers to reach one of the Himalayas’ most iconic destinations. Together, they sent a powerful message to the world: “Disability is not inability.”
