Udaipur’s Karate team won five medals including two gold medals in an International Karate Tournament held in Pathankot, Punjab. In the overall performance, Rajasthan grabbed 9 medals.

Mukesh Kumar Sukhwal, chief trainer and director of Rajasthan Global Martial Arts Academy informed that Daksh Jain (8) and Hitarth Chouhan (10) from Udaipur won gold medals. Sukhwal said that, 430 participants from countries including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Turkey, Russia and Australia took part in the tournament.

Rishabh Karnawat (7) and Bhumil Porwal (9) were awarded with silver medals while Harshit Goswami (8) won bronze medal.

Mukesh Kumar was also the chief referee and member of assistant executive board in the tournament.
