Udaipur’s Tapan Sharma to do Umpiring in Quadrangular Series
Tapan Sharma of Udaipur has been selected as Field Umpire for the upcoming Quadrangular Series of International Cricket matches under-19.
Tapan Sharma of Udaipur has been selected as Field Umpire for the upcoming Quadrangular Series of International Cricket matches under-19.
The matches will be played between India, Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Tapan will do umpiring for all the four matches and he is also selected for Elite Umpires Panel of BCCI.
Tapan Sharma was the 4th Umpire in this IPL’s eight matches this year. He also participated in seminar of Elite Umpires Panel in Nagpur recently.
Working as Chief Executive in SBI, Ahmedabad, Tapan is serving in BCCI since 2006 and did umpiring in more than 100 matches.
His father Balwant Sharma is a former international umpire and his elder brother Kamlesh Sharma is also an international umpire.
