A two day Weightlifting, Power lifting and Best Physique Competition was held at Health Center Meera Park. The event was organized by the Sport’s Board of Pacific University.

Chandresh Soni, Organizing secretary and Sports Official of Pacific University of Technical Studies informed that the contestants Tarun Paliwal won Bodybuilding and received the award of Mr. Pacific while Shekhar Sharma has won  the award of Best Lifter in Weightlifting category.

The results of Powerlifting: Parth Saxena, Shekhar Sharma, Rajat Audichya, Tarun Paliwal (1st in different weight categories) whereas Priyansh Joshi, Joyan K Zohan and Lakshit Paliwal (2nd in different weight categories).

Reults of Bodybuiling: Shekhar Sharma, Lakshit Paliwal, Tarun Paliwal, Rajat Audichya received 1st prize in different weight categories.

The competition was also attended by sports officials from different colleges. The event was judged by Naveen Sharma. The selection process for University Team will be done according to this competition and selected players will take part in the All India Powerlifting, Weightlifting and Best Physique Tournament going to be held in Chennai on 13th January 2016.
