Veteran Chess Player soon be honored with the title of 'FIDE Arbiter'
Adding another feather in his cap, lake city’s veteran Chess player and Coach Rajendra Teli was awarded FIDE’s 5th Arbiter Norm, in the recently concluded National Junior Chess Championship in Ajmer. He took the position of the Judge in the tournament organized by Ajmer Chess Organization and All Rajputana Chess Organization.

FIDE Arbiter, a norm in chess, is awarded to individuals deemed capable of acting as arbiter in important chess tournaments, by governing body for International chess ratings and competitions, FIDE (Fédération Internationale des Échecs or World Chess Federation).
Coach Vikas Sahu said, “Earlier Rajendra played the role of judge in J.S.G Heritage International Rating, Jaipur International Rating, N.L. Pandiyar Smriti and P.P. Sawani FIDE International Rating Chess Tournament to achieve this Norm”
Compositely, after all these achievements, Rajendra Teli will soon be honored with the title of ‘FIDE Arbiter’, by FIDE.
