Vikram Makhija emerged as the champion of the Late Ramesh Chandra Kuradiya Memorial Lakecity Open Chess Championship that was organized by Chess in Lakecity with Buddibal Seva Sansthaan.

The chief guest of the closing & prize distribution ceremony was William D’Souza, Principal of St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec School with special guests as Dr. Sushil Sahu- Asst Prof of RNT Medical College and Manju Rajmali, informed Vikas Sahu, Secretary of Chess in Lakecity.

Main judge Gayatri Kataria informed the winners are follows:

Vikram Makhija, Sunny Bedi, Rajendra Teli, Richin Jain, Govind Chandel, Nand Kishore Chandel, Hemendra Singh, Nitul Khare and Jainam Kothari from 1^st to 10^th respectively.

Under-19: Ayush Jain, Chandra Jeet Rajawat and Bhavesh Pandiyar

Under-17: Prabhav Maheshwari, Kunal Chabbra and Divyanshu Babel

Under-15: Shubhani Kapoor, Naman Porwal and Gautam Kataria

Under-13: Devansh Chechani, Ayush Lodha and Pallav Choudhary

Under-11: Chinmay Jain, Raj Kumawat and Kanishk Narang

Under-9: Arun Kataria, Yashasvi Gupta and Prakhar Pathak

Under-7: Shaurya Gupta.

Akshita Jain, Madhavi Suthar and Anisha Jain were presented as Best Women. All the winners were treated with trophy, cash prize and certificates.
