Udaipur, March 21, 2025 – Referee Vinod Sahu from Udaipur has been appointed as a technical official for the Khelo India Para Powerlifting Competition which will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi from March 22 to March 26. His appointment was by the Indian Para Powerlifting Committee, authorised by the Paralympic Committee of India.

Giving this information, Dinesh Shrimali, president of the Rajasthan State Powerlifting Association, congratulated Sahu  and shared that the competition is being organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and the Sports Authority of India.

Sahu has previously served as the Chief Technical Official at the competition held in 2023. At present, he is the only Category 1 international powerlifting referee from Rajasthan. He has officiated as the chief referee and chief jury in multiple international and national competitions.

Best wishes have been extended to Sahu on his appointment by several athletes and office bearers of the Rajasthan State Powerlifting Association including Secretary Dr Devendra Sahu, Treasurer Rajaram Sharma, Chandresh Soni, Kamlesh Sharma and Gaurav Sahu.
