Udaipur Powerlifting: Vishal Prajapat & Mansi Rawat Crowned Strongest
Vishal Prajapat and Mansi Rawat were declared Strong Man and Strong Woman of Udaipur at the 14th District Classic Powerlifting Championship held at Luvkush Indoor Stadium
Udaipur, Feb 9 - Under the aegis of the Udaipur District Powerlifting Association, the 14th Udaipur District Senior & Master, Men and Women Classic Powerlifting Championship was held on Sunday (February 8) at Luvkush Indoor Stadium.
In the competition, Vishal Prajapat was declared Strong Man of Udaipur, while Mansi Rawat was declared Strong Woman of Udaipur.
Sunil Acharya, former Chairman of Mount Abu Municipality and current leader of the Opposition, was Chief Guest at the closing and prize distribution ceremony. Special guests included social worker Vijay Sahu and international player Bhupendra Vyas.
International players Gaurav Sahu and Jayesh Kamoya welcomed the guests. T
The chief referees of the competition were Bhupendra Vyas, Bushra Sultan and Gaurav Sahu. District Sports Council observer and weightlifting coach Dhapu Lohar was also present.
Acharya used this occasion to announce that a State-level powerlifting championship will be organised in Mount Abu next year.

Based on the results, the Udaipur team has been selected for the 14th Rajasthan State Senior & Master Classic Powerlifting Championship, which will be held in Udaipur from February 14 to 15.
