A community cricket is on the rise as several local communities are organizing cricket tournaments in the city. Vishwakarma Nav Yuvak Mandal organized a cricket tournament at RCA Ground.

16 teams participated in the tournament. All teams represent their respective localities and areas.

According to Aniket Sharma, sports secretary of the mandal informed that every day there will be three matches. The tournament will continue till 5^th January.

From 29^th Dec, there will be competition for indoor games which will include Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom and Chess.
