The highly anticipated historic India-Pakistan clash at the Asia Cup, did live up to its billing as the fans witnessed brilliant performance and edge of the seat moment through out the 40 over sporting extravaganza
Udaipur, Sept 29, 2025: The Indian team defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the final of the Asia Cup 2025 and won the title for the 9th time. This was Team India's second win in this format after the 2016 Men's T20 Asia Cup. With this win in the 17th edition of the tournament, Team India was rewarded with big prize money.
After India’s victory over Pakistan, the BCCI announced in Dubai that the Indian players and support staff will get prize money of ₹21 Crore. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told news agency PTI that this is a great win, and the BCCI has decided to give ₹21 crore to the team and staff who were part of this Asia Cup.

After India’s big win, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said, “This trophy is a huge achievement for the team, the Board of Control for Cricket in India, and the entire country. We are very proud of our players who played brilliantly in Dubai and our support staff.”
The BCCI also celebrated on social media. India stayed unbeaten throughout the tournament, winning seven matches in a row to lift the trophy. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla also tweeted,
“Undefeated Champions of Asia! Congratulations to Team India for their victory and 3-0 clean sweep over Pakistan. Great performances under pressure from Tilak Varma and Kuldeep Yadav.”
