Women’s 20-20, a conquering day for Ajmer and Banasthali
On the third day of the 20-20 Mewar Womens Cricket League, Ajmer Challengers and Banasthali Royals took away the matches with their excellent performances. The first match of the day was played between Ajmer Challengers and Mewar Warriors, which Ajmer Challengers won by 114 runs. Winning the toss, Ajmer Challengers decided to bat first and set a massive target of 217 runs.

Babita Meena, the right hand batswoman gave the biggest contribution in the victory of Ajmer Challengers by making 100 runs in the innings, which is also the 1st century of the tournament. Her 55 ball hundred consisted of 17 boundaries.
Kavita Gahlot was the second highest scorer of the match with 44 runs. Mamta took 2 wickets where as Leela Lashkar took 1 wicket.
The Mewar Warriors inning, though, was wrapped up for 73 runs in 12.4 overs. Where Kirti knocked out 4 wickets, Nilesh Kumari took 3 wicket and Babita, Kavita and Saroj took 1 wicket each. Babita Meena was declared Woman of the match. The Prize distribution was done by the Chief Guests of the match, Ghanshyam Jhoshi, U.B.Srivastava and Mahendra k. Ranawat.
