The long wait finally ends as a large spectacle covering the length and breadth of western India encompassing 298 locations in 3 states began today. In Udaipur, Vivek Patni (Director-Wonder Cement) took the first toss and gave a kick start to the Wonder Cement Saath7 Cricket Mahotsav 2017 at Shikarbadi Ground. Jagdish Chandra Toshniwal (Managing Director – Wonder Cement), Sailesh Mohta (President-Marketing, Wonder Cement) and others from Wonder Cement team were also present to encourage the players ready for tehsil level rounds.

More than 4,500 matches will be held on 2^nd and 3^rd for the tehsil level rounds and people from all classes, age and occupations are coming forward to enjoy the game. Excitement was seen among players at this very first round of the tournament. It was a grand sight to see balls flying out of the stadium, stumps being knocked off and people cheering loudly to boost up their teams. Across the 3 states, teams consisting of doctors, masons, MBBS students, govt. officers, school students, etc. have all stepped up to the crease to play. To encourage more female participation, Saath7 is giving 7 runs as bonus to the teams, which have one or more female players in them. Season2 of Saath7 has got more than 60 all women team registrations this season.

Winners in each of tehsil level matches shall be felicitated with trophy, certificate and Rs.7000/- as cash prize. All teams participating in district matches will get t-shirt, lower and cap. The winner teams from 298 locations will then face each other at the 51 district level matches to be held across the three states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat on 9th and 10th December 2017.
