Wonder Cricket Academy beat Kailash Medical by 53 runs in the finals of NTPL Premier League Season-1 that was played on Sunday 24th March.  The Winning team received a shield and Rs. 1 Lac Cheque, while the runner-up team was honored with a shield and Rs. 51,000 cheque.

The toss was won by Wonder team who opted for batting.  Wonder scored 157 losing all their wickets, subsequent to efforts by Ashok Menaria, who scored an outstanding 62 runs in 51 balls including 4 fours and Dikshant Yagnik who scored 29 runs.

For Kailash Medical, Prateek Choudhary took 4 wickets, while Gaurav Sharma and Manoj Dagar took 2-2 wickets respectively.

A weak batting performance from Kailash Medical left the team all out for 104 runs in 17.3 overs.  Vinod Chawariya made 29 runs, Manoj Dagar, 20 and Gaurav Sharma scored 17 runs for Kailash Medical.

Ashok Menaria continued his brilliant all round performance by taking 4 wickets.  Mohammad Shafi, Mahendra Chaparwal, Junaid Sindhi and Kundan Gusar took 1 wicket each.

Man of the Series was awarded to Mohammad Asif (New Track Offset), Best Batsman Junaid Sindhi and Best Bowler Mohammad Shafi (Wonder Cricket Academy).

Chief Guest of the event was Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. Other prominent guests were V.V.K. Patni of R.K. Marbles and Manohar Singh Sanchar, former Vice President of Rajasthan Cricket Association.
