What Is RTM?
RTM (Right to Match) allows a franchise to bring back a released player during the auction. When other teams bid for that player, the former franchise can use RTM to match the final bid and retain the player by paying the same amount.
Example: If Delhi Capitals buy a player released by RCB for ₹10 crore, RCB can use RTM to get that player back by paying ₹10 crore.
