World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE as we all know it, is all set to rock Udaipur, when the Khelgaon Complex at Chitrakoot Nagar will cause the City of Lakes to reverberate.

With the last season concluding in Dec 2017 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, this years first session is all set to go live at Udaipur, the City of Lakes on 24 Feb.  This will be Rajasthan’s first WWE event, with Punjab, Haryana, Dehradun and the national capital already playing hosts to the WWE Challenge.

This WWE extravaganza will be the biggest event sports or otherwise, to have ever been hosted in Udaipur – a moment ot rejoice, both for the young and old, for those who adore wrestling in its raw form.

India’s wrestling super star, the Great Khalli, will be seen in action along with the global who’s who of the sport. Brody Steele, Katei Forbes, Santana Garrett, Rey Mysterio and Ryback will be first timers to India. Khalli, the key attraction of the event will be pitched against Ryback who returns to the sport after a break.

Actors Sunil Shetty, Sunny Leone and Tiger Shroff will be another attraction at the event, which is expected to put Khelgaon in the global limelight, with its parent city Udaipur already being a global tourist destination. The wresting ring is being imported from Germany

With 20 fights in just over 16 hours, the event, which is jointly hosted by Indian Wrestling Entertainment (IWE) and Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) will showcase 20 foreign and 25 Indian fighters flexing their muscle.

Khalli will be in Udaipur in the first week of February, and will participate in overseeing the facilities and arrangements for the event. The other wrestlers will be arriving a day before the event, i.e. 23 Feb, and will be challenging their adversaries across various locations in Udaipur.

Arjun Paliwal and Sandeep Paliwal, the key event organisers have expressed hope that this event will help make a name for Udaipur in the field of sport and will also enhance tourism, adding that the sport of Wrestling is surely set to get a flip across the state as a result of this event.  They also informed media that this event, which is expected to have a capacity crowd of 50,000 will be telecast across TV and streamed live on YouTube.
