Udaipur, Aug 21, 2025: The Lava Play Ultra 5G was launched in India on Wednesday, August 20. It is the latest 5G smartphone from Lava International. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and comes with up to 8GB RAM.
It is available in two colours and has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The Lava Play Ultra 5G has a dual rear camera setup, with a 64-megapixel main camera. The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Price and Availability
The price of Lava Play Ultra 5G in India starts at ₹14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 8GB + 128GB model costs ₹16,499. It will be available in Arctic Frost and Arctic Slate colors. The sale will begin on Amazon from August 25.
As part of the launch offer, buyers can get the 6GB variant for ₹13,999 and the 8GB variant for ₹15,499. An extra discount of ₹1,000 is available on ICICI, SBI, and HDFC cards.
Specifications
The Lava Play Ultra 5G is a dual SIM phone that runs on Android 15. The company has promised two Android version updates and three years of security updates. It has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The screen covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The phone is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For cameras, it has a 64MP Sony IMX682 main camera and a 5MP macro camera at the back. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera. Camera features include Night Mode, HDR, Portrait, Beauty, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Pro Mode, Filters, AR Stickers, and Macro Photography.
The Lava Play Ultra 5G comes with an IP64 rating (dust and splash resistant). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, OTG, and USB Type-C. It also has stereo speakers.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The company claims it charges fully in 83 minutes, offers up to 45 hours of talk time, and 510 hours of standby time.
