First Ever Laptop by Microsoft launched alongwith Microsoft Band

Microsoft on Tuesday made a range of product launches, which included the Surface Laptop and its reformed activity tracker, Microsoft Band. Though users were keen on hearing something about a new Surface or a Lumia smartphone, it became clear that MS was focusing more on wearable technology. Though, the giant later also unveiled its two flagship phones, Lumia 950 along with its phablet variant Lumia 950XL.
The Microsoft Band is sleeker looking wrist device, based on GPS technology, and is compatible with Android, iOS and obviously Windows OS devices. Curved and with a sensitive OLED display, the Band comes with Cortana integration, which reminds you of a missed workout and also includes a Barometer. Last years Band features that include GPS, Heart Rate, Calorie and Sleep Tracking are anyways included.
The company has also come out with the Surface Pen, that is available with Surface Pro 4, has a year long battery life and works on 1,024 degree pressure sensitivity. The Surface Pro 4 was also launched earlier in the event. The tablet, with a 12.3 inch screen, backed by 4GB-16GB RAM and upto 1TB Storage, comes with a fingerprint scanner, USB 3.0 Ports, a 8MP rear camera and 9 hour battery life. The device ships from October 26 and is available on pre-order at the Microsoft Store
Surface Book, Microsoft’s first ever Laptop was also launched at the Windows 10 event. Sporting a 13.5″ screen, the Laptop comes with a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and offers a choice of 8GB or 16GB RAM.
For Games freaks, Microsoft gave a demo o the Project X-Ray reality game that works on Halolens, its wearable headset. Players can convert any room into gaming canvas, where they wear a holographic weapon and shoot objects.
